Helen Troup

Head of client markets life & health, Swiss Re

Troup joined Swiss Re as head of life and health for Australia and New Zealand in April 2012.
She has worked in financial services for more than 20 years and has in-depth experience in setting strategy and managing the direction and operations of financial institutions in both Australia and New Zealand.
Before joining Swiss Re, Troup was chief executive of OnePath New Zealand (formerly ING New Zealand) from 2008 and, prior to that, executive director of life risk at OnePath in Australia.
She was previously an active board member of the Financial Services Council in Australia and the Investment Savings and Insurance Association in New Zealand.
Troup holds a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University, Sydney.
