Matthew Brown

Brown has been at Aon for over three years and is responsible for the Australian 30-member health and benefits team, which provides strategic advice and broking solutions to organisations in the employee health and benefits arena.
His consulting experience gained over the last 20 years encompasses all aspects of retirement and employee-benefit programs, employee risk management and group insurance benefits. He has strong technical expertise in superannuation – both defined benefit and defined contribution plans – and related topics including investments and insurance. Brown has worked with organisations ranging from small operations to large local and multinational companies. His wealth of knowledge and experience focuses on delivering value-driven needs-based outcomes for clients.
Before joining Aon in May 2008, Brown worked for Mercer in Australia for 16 years and Deutsche Asset Management for two years with a focus on superannuation and retirement savings, employee-benefit program design and management, group insurance, general consulting and client service, new business generation, and team management and leadership.
