Bruce Bonyhady

Co-chair, NDIS Advisory Group

Bonyhady is chairman of Yooralla, Victoria’s largest disability service provider, president of Philanthropy Australia and chairman of Acadian Asset Management Australia Limited.
He is one of the driving forces behind the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and is currently deputy chair of the advisory group to the Council of Australian Governments on disability reform.
Bonyhady’s background is in economics, funds management and insurance. He has three adult children, two of whom have disabilities. In 2010, Bonyhady was made a Member of the Order of Australia for his services to people with disabilities and the community.
