Humphreys has been practicing as an actuary in the superannuation industry for more than 20 years. Over this period he has been heavily involved in the group risk market, providing design and pricing advice to trustees, employers and life offices, both as an employed actuary and, since 1996, as a consulting actuary. He was a member of the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal for six years to 2011. He is a principle of actuarial firms CHR Consulting and Actuaries In Super.
