Karen Volpato

Marketing manager, First State Super

As marketing manager of First State Super, Volpato is responsible for developing the strategic marketing and product direction for First State Super.  In May 2006, Volpato oversaw the marketing rollout of First State Super becoming a public offer fund.

Volpato is now responsible for driving the brand strategy following the merger of First State Super and Health Super, which has created Australia’s fourth largest super fund.

Volpato has extensive experience in the banking and superannuation industry, and has a legal background.  Volpato has in the past been voted as Selecting Super’s Superannuation Marketer of the Year.
